From the root.

We share the stories, achievements and lessons that are born in our fields.

Here we record what is worth telling: advances, technical decisions, certifications and practices that strengthen our way of producing. What happens in the field, in processes or in the sector's environment is connected to each avocado we grow.

Published entries.

We are in harvest season

At Avoterra Exports we are in one of the most important moments of the year: the harvest season, which runs from May to August. During these months our Hass avocado groves reach their optimal ripeness, which allows us to offer fresh, high-quality fruit meeting every standard required for international export.

Conscious cultivation: sustainability at the root of Avoterra Exports

At Avoterra Exports we believe that producing and exporting avocados should not go against caring for the land. We run our own laboratory of entomopathogenic organisms, solar panels on the La Mansión and Melón farms, and concrete practices for conserving water and native forests.

Clonal avocados: agricultural innovation in Colombian orchards

Colombia faces the challenge of the Phytophthora fungus in avocado cultivation and is committed to clonal avocados, an alternative that is more resistant, more uniform and better adapted to the terrain. This innovation could mark the future of more sustainable agriculture.
